Misleading Marcus Lacewell It seems that the reasons that people use to discredit religions, different from their own, are based on their lack of knowledge of the other religions. I have heard many religious leaders preach misleading information. This misleading information becomes embedded in the minds of the listeners of these Christian leaders. It seems that many divisions, of religion, have assumptions about other religions, that are based on incorrect information. (I say 'many divisions of religion' because there are divisions that I have not researched. I am always open to any information, as long as it's from a creditable, non-bias, source. Yes, some Bibles versions are uncreditable.) One example: John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Many focal leaders, in popular western religions, never claimed to be anything, but a person leading people to God. (As many preachers today.) Many times, from conversations that I had, it is not the existence or power of Jesus that is doubted. What's doubted is that Jesus is the only way to God. Another: Mark 8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? It is their followers that give them 'immortal' titles. If many people say that I'm God, it doesn't mean that I think that I am God. Unlearn. |
