Put Your Old Shoes On

Different Experiences
Marcus Lacewell
Say you were with a company for 15 or 20 years.  Another person recently joined the company and was promoted over you, while you are still treated as a new employee.  Do you see something wrong with that?  So, why do some parents still treat their children as if they have not had their own experiences for, say, 15 or 20 years.

John 8:7
... They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, "All right,
but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!"
Is your fear bigger than your faith?  Where do your fears exist? Many people say that they are not interested in what others think.  Yet, they mold, subtract and add details, of a situation, to remain blameless, to others.  By doing this, a person is exposing their actual fear.  It is easy for one to say that they are not afraid to walk alone in a valley.  But, most people that say this, usually, try to just hide their fear from others.  Can anyone heal your body?  Can anyone make the sun rise?  Is there anything that God can’t do?  So God is the only one that matters.  We all sin, so sometimes our fear is bigger than our faith.  But, we are not sinners, so we realize our mistakes and return our faith to being bigger than our fears.  This is understandable because we have all been in such situations.  Hopefully, we have all realized our mistakes.  Unlearn.

How Can I Be Better

How can I be better?
Marcus Lacewell
Fighters always need something to fight.  Many times, without realizing, the fight that they normally find is a fight with themselves.  Whether it is their old self vs. Their new self, who they wish they were vs. Who they really are or etc.

Marcus Lacewell
People say ‘good job, you work hard, you should be proud of yourself.’  But, I’m not, because there are some things that I can’t do.
Though my situation dealt me a losing hand, I still have to play the game.  We all must play this game called life.

Black Dog Syndrome

Black Dog Syndrome
Marcus Lacewell
Black dog syndrome or big black dog syndrome is a disputed phenomenon in which black dogs are passed over for adoption in favor of lighter-colored animals. Animal shelters often use the term BBD, or big black dog, to describe the type of larger dark-colored mixed-breed said to be typically passed over by adopters.

In Charge But Not A Leader

   Marcus Lacewell

“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly."
 Jim Rohn

Many people, today, confuse leadership and being in charge.  Many categorize these as having the same meaning, but this is untrue.  One can be a leader and not be in charge.  As we often see, today, is that you can be in charge and not be a leader.

Psalm 23:5
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Have you ever seen progress and realize that you are being blessed?  Then, it seems that you never receive another blessing.  This verse should be renewed everyday.  If you are alive and reading this now, you are blessed.  These are the only blessings that some of us see because that is all that we have the capacity for.
(Let's build a scenario) Say that we had to fill a swimming pool with water, but the water faucet was a block away.

Statistics show that cases of STDs have increased along with technology.  Cases may have been severe, in the past, but there were not as many options of mobility.  I am not speaking of disease`transmitted by sex.  But, I am speaking of another STD.  This STD has proven to be incurable.  ( (S)ocially (T)ransmitted (D)isease )
Everyone has the virus 'different,' but some 'differences' automatically mature to full blown 'discrimination.'  'Different' is a virus that forms in packs.  When a pack of 'differences' become a majority, usually, 'discrimination' is formed.  Over the last century 'discrimination' has changed forms.  As AIDS and Herpes have developed, 'discrimination' has developed with technology.  Because it does not have its past form, many claim that the virus does not exist.  But, 'discrimination' can, also, be hereditary.  This is a very advanced virus because the host may show symptoms, of the virus, without realizing them.  This case is often spotted by the host's generalizing instead of individualizing.  Has this STD reach you?  Unlearn.
