Belief Based Defiance
Marcus Lacewell

As the belief of equality is not accepted, it seems that violence increases.  We have seen this from Harriet Tubman to Marcus Garvey to Malcolm X to The Black Panther Party of self-defense to etc.  Today violence still grows as the number of social groups increase.
Though the number of social groups increase, along with their hopes of equality, society seems to always focus on the increase of violence.  But, as negative actions increase, opposing positive actions must increase.  Well, this sense of continuous balance is, also, a belief.
Other than the violence increase, religion attempts to revisit social events.  We see this in movies, helpful actions, people trying to individually incorporate prayer in school and other social events.  It seems that free speech can act as societies defiance.  For example, we vote for laws that take religion out of schools.  Then, we complain when the laws are upheld.
It is very common for someone to see equality based-defiance as negative and religious- based defiance as being positive.  Why is that.  Just as the two past main groups, black and white, are being 'blurred' by social positions and homosexuality, equality-based and religious- based defiance are beginning to integrate.  Though society will continue to keep negative actions in the forefront, let's not forget about the progressing positive actions that are being done in the rear view mirror.  Unlearn.
