I Want It Now

Not Ready For Your Blessing
Marcus Lacewell

Luke 15:11-32
And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
Both sons were promised to receive a blessing. But, the blessing was to be received after the father's death. They knew that that they were to receive the goods. They saw the goods every day. They probably already had everything planned, how they were going to use and spend everything, when they received the goods. But, their father was not dead yet.
As time passes, our thoughts change. What the two sons had planned for their father's inheritance would change, while time passes, as the father lives. Just think of all the plans that you had, years ago, for things that you have now. The only reason that you are able to have many of the things, now, is because your plans have changed. Maybe you did not have some of the things, then, because your thoughts had not yet changed.
The same things that you are praying for that seems like they will never come; maybe your thoughts are not yet ready to receive them. Unlearn.
