Psalm 48:14
For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
Just because you meet someone while they are doing bad doesn't mean that they're a bad person.
When people are confronted with a storm/problem  they, usually, have a method, in their mind, of how they want to escape the storm/problem.  But, when you ask for help, you, normally, have to adopt Help's methods.
Some ask God to deliver them from a storm, then complain about how they escaped it.  This complaining and denial usually, leads them directly into a new storm.  This reveals many faith issues.  A major issue that is revealed shows the person's unwillingness to try an idea that is not their own.  If every one has all the answers, to their problems, no one would have problems.
If God is your guide and you find yourself in different problems, then, obviously, God led you into those problems.  Many times, God leads you into these problems to see how you handle the difficulty.  And, if God leads you into a problem, you know that there are solutions and ways out.  Unlearn.
