“The only man who never makes a mistake is the man who never does anything.”
                                                                                              Theodore Roosevelt
If time travel was possible, many people would travel, to the past, and warn their younger selves of future failures.  But, would that make your life better?  Think of all the things that you know that allows you to still be alive.  Most of those things you learned through failed lessons, or mistakes.  Just think, if you never made a bad decision or were always given the correct answers, you would become dependent and would not have a sense of 'cause-and-effect.'
God has predestined all of our lives.  He put different lessons in our path.  Many lessons were designed for us to fail.  So, when we encounter similar lessons, we know what not to do.  We are exactly where God planned for us to be.  We survived                  .  Each lesson has an outcome that symbolizes the thrill of our victory or the agony of our defeat.  If someone always gave you correct answers, you would not have to think.  So,  when you encounter a situation that requires you to think, you would be clueless.  Would you want that for yourself?  Do you think that you would still be alive?  Unlearn.
