And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
As youth, most have heard of God and a man called Jesus. But, as we age, we begin to recognize His goodness. In our youth, His presence may have been too complicated for us to accept. As we begin to put away childish things, He begins to reveal Himself to us. Let's look at the word 'reveal.' The word 'reveal' implies that something is already present, just not known. Just as God's love and kindness has always been present, but it has not always been known by us.
We begin to notice more, as we grow from 'under' our parental figures. As our 'eyes begin to be opened,' we begin to recognize His presence. We start seeing His undeserved love beginning to reveal itself. Then we realize that He has always been with us. (We ask and pray for things, not knowing that we may already possess them. They just haven't been revealed to us yet.) Unlearn.
