Romans 8: 28-30
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Many people say that they are the type of person that they are because of their upbringing. But, what upbringing? If God predestined your life, you existed before your body existed. So, everyone was a type of person before their body was born. How can one claim the reverse? I understand that the circumstances of your conception and/or birth might have not been favorable, but you're here.
Celie: I'm poor, black, I might even be ugly, but dear God, I'm here. I'm here.

If you can prove your worth in spite of your circumstances, you will reach a point where your circumstances do not matter. Fighting any battle with unfavorable circumstances just makes the victory better. Unlearn.
