Caught in the Moment

Caught in the Moment
Marcus Lacewell
Being 'caught in the moment' is similar to saying that you are, temporarily, focused on one person, place or thing. (This is why race horses where blinders.) This person, place or thing can be real or not. But, God has made our minds so powerful that our minds can convince us into experiencing, seeing or even hearing things. Have you ever seen yourself winning a race, before it began? This is just a complex version of our childhood imagination. Normally, when our minds convince us into experiencing these things, we mistake them as evidence of a truth. Instead, your mind just created experiences. Your imagination does not stop when you get older. It just changes, along with your knowledge.
Some, also, can see being 'caught in the moment' as being blinded. You can be blinded by love. Blinded by lust. Blinded by the truth, yourself, etc. The term 'blinded' is used because one, normally, 'sees' nothing else. But, this is also temporary. It's just as it says, caught in the MOMENT. That moment may be true to you, but that's the difference between a Truth and a Fact. No, they are not the same. A Truth can be true to one, or a few. A Fact is true for everyone. So, being 'caught in the moment is not factual. If it was, it would not be temporary, or only for a moment. You were just CAUGHT in that MOMENT. Unlearn.
